Extensive range of vehicles: Whether passenger cars or light commercial vehicles: Hertz Basel always has a diverse selection of rental cars ready for you - including electric ones, of course. If you would like to rent a specific model, the team will organise it for you in the nationwide network of stations.
Extended opening hours: Benefit from our mobility services longer than usual! The Hertz station at Nauenstrasse 33 is open from Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 6 pm. The branch is also open on Saturday (7:00 am to 1 pm) and even on Sunday (8 am to 12 noon).
Delivery and collection service: You can't pick up your rental car at the station yourself? No problem: Hertz Basel will be happy to bring it to your place of business or to an address of your choice and, if you wish, will also collect it from there again.
Hire on account: If you wish to use the services of Hertz Basel on a regular basis, a billing account will be set up for you. This allows you and your employees to rent conveniently on account - even worldwide!

Hertz
Hertz was established in the US in 1918, more than one hundred years ago. Since then, the company has developed into one of the world's largest car rental companies. Hertz has been operating in Switzerland since 1952 and also celebrated its entry onto the European market back then with the opening of the first station in Lucerne. Since 2012, Herold Fahrzeugvermietung AG, a subsidiary of the Emil Frey Group, has been operating the Swiss Hertz, Dollar and Thrifty business as an international Hertz country licensee. With more than 125 models from more than 25 brands with an average age of only three months, the offer of Hertz Switzerland not only incorporates the most diverse but also one of the youngest and most attractive fleets of passenger and commercial vehicles in the country. This is supplemented by an extensive network of branches at around 50 locations.
